iEDM Radio Episode 373: David Novacek

David Novacek is a DJ, producer, and remixer from the Czech Republic releasing tracks worldwide on top labels like Spinnin’, Armada, Sosumi, Kryteria, Cartel, Toolroom, Enormous, Kontor, EGO, Black Hole, CUBE, Darklight, and more.

In 2016, David did two official remixes for house music legend Ron Carroll. In May 2018, he reached one of his dreams and released a track on Kryder’s ;abel Sosumi Records (The World’s No.1 Free Dance Music Label). In October 2018, he was invited by Kryder to play a live DJ set during his ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) Boat Party. In November 2018, David released “Zenaida” on Kryteria Records / Spinnin’ Records. We Rave You wrote an article spotlighting David Novacek at the end of the 2018.

In February 2019, David started to play his DJ sets in London. Robbie Rivera, another house legend, did an official remix on David’s rrack ‘’Guitarra’’ in April 2019. It was an honor for David to make an official remix for the Warp Brothers and their 19-year-old track “Phatt Bass,” which everyone knows from the movie 'Blade.' At the end of 2019, Robbie Rivera took two of David’s tracks and made official remixes again.

In May 2020, David did an official Interview with Red Bull. In 2021 David started his own label Adelante Records. In July 2021, David was invited to play on Ibiza Island at Ibiza Rocks. In July 2022, David was invited to play on Ibiza Island again; this time at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.

In July 2023, David recorded a one-hour DJ set on the most beautiful and magical place in the World … Es Vedrà 𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗭𝗔. At the end of 2023, Pete Tong played David’s track “The Underground” on the legendary BBC Radio 1.

Dylan Delato, a tech house and overall dance music artist from Michigan, is celebrated for his intense and high-energy sets. Beginning his performance journey at the age of 8, Delato made his mark in community events before quickly advancing to the festival scene. The name Delato, meaning "to convey a message" or "to deliver to someone" in Latin, perfectly encapsulates his mission to provide a unique experience for everyone attending his shows, inviting them to express their joy through his music.

Delato has graced a variety of stages, supporting major acts like John Summit, Dom Dolla, and SOFI TUKKER. His performances at notable venues and events, including Summerfest, The Intersection in Grand Rapids, and Breakaway Music Festival, have solidified his reputation in the music community. Lissat is the owner of Tactical Music Group, encompassing 10 renowned House & Nu Disco Labels. His career started being one of the first mixing DJs across Germany in 1979. Lissat has played at the best club in Hamburg, Germany, called “TRINITY,” which opened in 1978 with a Richard Long System and won the Billboard award in 1979 for the best Light show in the world.

In the early 80s, he recorded several mixes (consisting of mashups and bootlegs with Tape & Reel to Reel). In 1987, he produced the first German HOUSE production, “Work the House Sound.” His sound design skills proved to be extremely impressive. Lissat pioneered the funky & Nu Disco sound heard throughout his labels.

The success of Tactical Records in 2019, 2020 and 2021, included numerous high charted tunes. Five of his own releases have reached #1 in the Top 100 Beatport and iTunes, plus a bunch of Top 10 singles. He reached the #1 position as the best-selling artist in FUNKY/GROOVE/JACKIN House on Beatport in 2021, in addition to Tactical Records being the best-selling brand in this space! With millions of Spotify plays, Lissat is also in Top 10 of the best-selling artists across all genres in Beatport and Beatstats.
