Bio:
In an industry where any determined newbie can download music software and learn the basics from YouTube tutorials, 17-year-old Robbie Bergin -- better known by his DJ name, Throttle -- strives to distinguish himself by understanding the science behind the software. Many in music may know what equalization and compression are, but far fewer understand exactly how and why a tweak in a parameter can alter a mix.
The Australian-born producer has dedicated weeknights and weekends to teaching himself to produce music since he was 14, finding a delicate balance between his studies and mixes. When Throttle graduates high school in November, however, he plans to put his studies on hold and focus on creating original tracks and remixes full time.  From his initial exposure to music when he picked up guitar at 12, Throttle recognized the importance of knowing his instrument. For him, it’s Ableton, Sylenth and Novation’s Launchpad.
With Launchpad, Throttle has carved out a name for himself on YouTube with his live mash-ups (“Inspire” and “What’s That Sound”). For each short video, he combines dozens of songs with the 64 programmable buttons. Though Throttle spends hundreds of hours preparing the set list beforehand, his meticulous finger movements are all in the moment.
Throttle is seeking to transform the idea of what it means to be a DJ. As he begins to add more live shows to his resume, which already includes Avicii’s recent Australian tour and the 2014 Future Music Festival Throttle is poised to soon become a household name for EDM fans around the world.

Gleaning creative insight from inspirations Sigur Ros and Radiohead, 3LAU aims to bring beauty, melody, and emotion back into dance music. This year marks a fresh chapter for the young 3LAU, as he transitions from mash-up guru to big room house producer. The 22-year-old 3LAU first took the electronic music scene by storm, igniting dance parties and crafting beats to the delight of fans worldwide. Joining the release circuit less than two years ago, 3LAU amassed widespread acclaim with two eclectic collections of bootlegs titled "Dance Floor Filth," and the term continues to describe 3LAU's unique sound. Once his music and mixes reached the ears of fans and bloggers alike, 3LAU earned top 10 Beatport & Hype Machine charting as well as a DJ reputation for flawlessly blending together bootlegs, remixes, and originals into fast-paced sets that keep crowds guessing.

Since Jorge was a child, music has been his passion. He started listening to hip hop and techno, and always admired the work that DJs put in, especially Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys DJ). When he first heard Trance , he felt a connection to the genre. Since he was 15 years old Jorge has been researching and learning all he could about EDM. In 2001 he bought his first pair of turntables and hasn't stop spinning since. Jorge is known for his afterhours sessions where he spins for 6-8 hours in the city of Lima. Now Jorge has focused on spinning electro and progressive house where he goes all out for the crowd. Jorge has helped raise the popularity of electronic music in Peru, a country that has finally opened its door to everything electronic music has to offer.

So far? Seems to have been the right choice. In the three years they’ve been spinning tunes, The Jane Doze have garnered a couple of million YouTube views and Soundcloud plays, and countless artistic endorsements. They’ve shared stages with Calvin Harris and Diplo, playing from New York City to the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. As the duo’s fan base and digital footprint grow exponentially, the pair continues to make a mark on the live music scene. So put your antlers up, it’s go time!

Bound in masks and bearing a fully customized twist on the sound of modern dance music, Stockholm-breakouts turned Billboard-chart toppers Cazzette have turned heads across the board. The creative union of Alexander Bjorklund and Sebastian Furrer, their reign under the At Night banner has given the industry landscape a new point of reference where breaking the rules and blurring the lines is concerned. Two years later, one album strong and still holding club floors and festival crowds across the continents, their pledge to stay clear of ‘that EDM bubble’ stands stronger than ever before for 2014.  After a chance online meeting the duo wasted little time making the pieces fit.  Bonded by a love for rave music and influences from across the musical spectrum, Alex’s structured perfectionism and Sebastian’s crazy creative habits would bring them together as one of the most coherent units to emerge from Sweden’s thriving dance community. By the time Ash Pournouri tuned into their work, the duo had already championed the ‘dubhouse’ sound – one that the global industry would quickly tune into and lap up like wildfire. Never ones to get hooked up on one sound, the duo passed on gracefully, taking with them a blatant disregard for genre rulebooks and the goal of being poster boys to the expanding boundaries of modern dance music.  Of all the early studio landmarks to bless their two-year streak, however, debut album Eject served up a number of career land marks. As the first dance album to be exclusively released through Spotify, lead single “Beam Me Up” would seal the duo as the first to ever top the Billboard charts with a single without formal label backing. It took just 14-tracks for Cazzette to champion both the album platform and the streaming market alike, setting a precedent once thought impossible to aspiring dance artists with album aspirations across the globe.  But where Cazzette is concerned, the future is the only direction worth dwelling on. At the outset of 2014, they’ve found what they want to represent and it sure isn’t limited to 128 BPM. Crossing genre conventions and building on their legacy with a focus on songs that they love, ‘Heroes’ signals the changing tides ahead, putting music with feeling at

the top of their agenda. Adding collaborations alongside both Shermanology and The High to the equation, the new music will be met with brand news masks for the global tour duties ahead. A bond of Swedish engineering and their own vivid imaginations, the focus on both live and studio work highlights yet another of the beauties of Cazzette. When the music evolves, the experience follows-suit. Made in Sweden, exported globally and controlled byno one genre’s playbook, Cazzette has truly taken control of their place in dance music’sexciting forward movements for 2014.
