iEDM Radio Episode 193: Juicy M

Juicy M has quickly become one of the most popular and promising female producers in the world. With a strong background in hip-hop DJing and turntablism, she entered the electronic scene in 2013 with viral YouTube videos of her mixing live on four decks. Since then, Juicy’s gained million of fans on Facebook, was featured in Billboard's “Next Big Sound” chart, and has been acknowledged by popular magazines, blogs and events like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music, Balaton Sound and Medusa. Juicy M's first production, an unofficial remix of Major Lazer's “Watchout For This”, has been supported by heavy hitters like Calvin Harris, Bob Sinclar and Diplo himself, and hit #4 on a weekly chart by the well-known US promo pool DJ City. Soon after, she opened her own record label (JUMMP Records), launched her popular radio show JuicyLand (FM-broadcasted in 11 countries), and landed gigs at club destinations like Privilege, Pacha, and Green Valley. This jump to worldwide fame has made her an inspiring character for upcoming DJs and built an army of loyal and devoted fans worldwide. IEDM Radio Episode 192: Funkin Matt

Ever since his first hit "Bouncing Harbour Remix” back in 2007, Funkin Matt has been a part of the growing house scene, delivering everything from electro bangers like "I Wish" (Fool's Gold) to future house bliss in "Rapture" (Mad Decent) and providing quality music with room for experimentation. He has released music on various labels like Tiesto's Musical Freedom, A-Traks's Fool’s Gold and Steve Aoki's Dim Mak, while also doing remixes and singles for major labels such as Sony, Warner and Universal. His official remix of Mariah Carey’s "You're Mine" reached #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Chart as part of his Remix EP, giving Matt his first #1. Outside of the club world, Matt's collaboration with Chris Lie on the mellow track "Let's Go Deep" was a radio hit in Norway and showcased his versatility as a producer. That same year, Matt got featured on Ubisoft's triple-A video game "The Crew" with his rave anthem "MAD" (Mad Decent). IEDM Radio Episode 189: Tripo

Tripo is Matan Shkalim, a Psytrance music producer born in Israel in 1991. Shkalim discovered the world of psychedelic music when he was 10 years old, and two years later he started to produce his own electronic music. By the time he was 19, he built his own studio and dove deeper into the world of Psytrance. His music has a unique and original sound, a mixture of various genres including uplifting trance, trap, techno and more. Each one of his tracks stays true to his personal musical style, but has a story of its own. In January 2017, Tripo released his first EP, Middle Eastern Nights, on German label SolarTech Records. After the EP went viral on social media, he dropped "The Anthem" that April on popular Brazilian label Alien Records. The single garnered support and recognition from many in the Psytrance community, including artists such as Azax, Belik Boom, and Vagus. A month later, he released his second EP, Unique Mode, on Alien Records to significant commercial success. In October, Tripo released his remix with Von Zeus for "Bazzar" (KSHMR and Marnik), receiving support from Vini Vici, Upgrade and KSHMR, and in December, he collaborated with Samra to produce another viral hit, “Selfie”. French producer Mathieu Koss has created a storm within EDM over the last couple of years. With early tracks supported by Sam Feldt, Robin Schulz, Lost Frequencies and Martin Garrix, Mathieu was signed in 2016 to Spinnin’ Records, the perfect home for his blend of pop and house. Mathieu’s debut release, ‘Need Your Lovin’’, garnered almost 2 million combined streams and was played by elite DJs including Tiësto, Jonas Blue, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Soon after came Mathieu’s official remix of Bob Sinclar’s 'Someone Who Needs Me’, which earned a spot in Beatport’s Top 10. Miguel Bastida’s started his musical career at only 14 years old, DJing on the local radio station of his hometown of Alhama de Granada, Spain. Now living in Barcelona, Miguel has become one of the most in-demand electronic artists worldwide, due to his versatility, musical selection and a unique charisma that dominates the dance floor. As a DJ, Miguel Bastida belongs to an exclusive group of Spanish DJs that has the chance to tour around the world. From Australia and New Zealand to electronic music strongholds like New York and Chicago, his name can be found in the line-ups of many of the world’s best clubs and festivals. Bastida’s projects naturally led to the creation of his own label, Be One Records. Bastida is in charge of the label’s A&R, while his buddies in Berlin and Granada manage design and social networks duties. Recently, they created a sub-label dedicated to support young and upcoming talents of the EDM scene.
