Whether it be crafting infectious melodies with their transcendent originals and innovative remixes or electrifying crowds with their energetic sets, The Him are an international dance force to be reckoned with. Hailing from the dance capital of the world, Amsterdam, the Dutch team of Jeroen Kerstens and Steven Berghuijs formed their partnership in 2015 when they started working together in the studio. IEDM Radio Episode 242: Alex Schulz

At the age of 5, Stuttgart-born producer and DJ Alex Schulz started playing the piano, and music was always an important companion in his life. In 2014, he gained attention through his music productions posted on Soundcloud, including his single “In The Morning Light”. At the beginning of 2015, “In The Morning Light” received a global single release and landed in the Germany Top 100 iTunes charts. Later that year, Schulz released his second single “Ways”, which reached a million listens on his Soundcloud profile in only a month. “Ways” made it onto the official Tomorrowland Compilation and received support from DJs like Thomas Jack, Sam Feldt, Möwe and Kygo. From that moment on, Alex Schulz wasn’t a nobody anymore within the Deep House scene. He remixed top hits like “Headlights” from Robin Schulz and “Goodbye” from Feder, and released remixes for labels like Sony Music and Spinning Records with DJ gigs around the globe. His third single “Keep on Reaching“” was published on Armada in 2017, and reached 2 million plays on Spotify in no time. Also in 2017, Schulz released his fourth single “Be My Lover” which was co-produced by Sam Feldt. “Be My Lover” was played over and over on Dutch radio, and has been streamed over 19 million times on Spotify. In 2018, Alex Schulz released his newest single “EASY“ on disco:wax. The Danish label has released tracks from artists such as Hardwell, Bob Sinclar, Axwell and Martin Garrix. Culture Code is a dance music duo made up of childhood friends Dylan Norton & Chris Bains. Based in the UK, the producer/DJ duo are known for crafting melodically-driven bass music across a variety of genres, including future house & melodic dubstep. In December 2016, Culture Code released their hit single ‘Make Me Move’ (feat. Karra), which garnered over 3 million plays in one month and now sits at over 31 million. IEDM Radio Episode 235: Vicetone

Dutch DJ duo Vicetone have unveiled their highly anticipated EP “Elements”, which includes recent singles ‘Fences’ (feat. Matt Wertz) and ‘Something Strange’ with Haley Reinhart. Released on February 22nd via Monstercat, “Elements” features two unreleased tracks: ‘Home’ and ‘Feels Like’ (feat. LAUR). With ‘Elements’ serving as the follow up to 2016’s Aurora, the EP features more live instruments than ever before, and illustrates sonic depth from the progressive house duo. Victor adds: “This is the first thing we’ve done where we’re playing guitar, and it lets us get so many sounds we’d never be able to get through sampling.” Previously amassing over 42 million Spotify streams on hits like ‘Nevada’, the pair manage to retain their own brand of emotionally-charged dance music while adding a fresh 2019 twist. Growing up in the Dutch city of Groningen, Ruben and Victor began exploring their passion for dance music back in high school, when the two longtime friends would spend hours making mixes of mutually beloved producers like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Eric Prydz. Since their debut with ‘Harmony’ (a 2012 release on Monstercat), Vicetone began landing gigs around Europe, and soon took on a relentless world tour schedule. 

 To date, they’ve brought their high-energy, infinitely exhilarating live show to massive festivals across the globe, including Ultra Miami and Ultra Croatia.
