Behind this quite controversial and fun
at the same time stage name, you will find a very young Madrid based
duo, synonymous with pure eclecticism. Producers and DJ´s without
borders (neither physical nor musical), whose spectrum of sound is
limitless. From nu-disco and fancy house to more adventurous and
explosive sounds like EDM, Trap, Moombahton, playing with electro-rock
as well as beats considered to be more mainstream.
Their recording studio skills are about
to be exposed with the highly anticipated “Como Back to Me” (featuring
BEAROID). A fascinating vocal clubbing pop song to be released on
September, 23rd in an EP completed with banging remixes by
Moliner, Rubik Dude and Taak. The icing for this 2014 will be the
official music video for the original track directed by Mauri D.
Galiano.
The duo shares their abilities showing
off on stages throughout the world. In the last four years you could
find them on Dcode, SOS 4.8 Arenal Sound, 101 Sun Fest, Sonorama or Pop
UP. They also played in Mexico, Holland, Germany and in majority of the
best Spanish clubs. With the motto “vale-tudo” wherever they go and with
a clearly defined role to play: to make us enjoy, bounce and sweat!
With KILL THE HIPSTERS
it is absolutely forbidden to be bored. The duo lands with quite an
impact, promising and absolutely ready to rein the new worldwide indie
and dance scene. Save their name in your head, and remember “KTH &
Spain are always different”.
Further details:
KILL THE HIPSTERS have shared the stage with artists
like Crookers, Dada Life, Mylo, A-trak, Steve Aoki, Aeroplane, Breakbot,
The Magician, Alex Metric, T.E.E.D., etc. On top of that, they add up
to their resume two VMA nominations (most valued Spanish Electronic
Music award), for the recent release of their own music label Agitprop,
since September 2012 a weekly radio show on Vicious (Radio FM and
online) and a long experience in concerts and DJ session promotions
bringing up to the audience the most relevant of the international
electronic, indie and dance scene.

REL aka Ariel Bum has been active on the EDM
nightlife scene since a young age. At 16, REL snuck in to Webster Hall to
see Tiesto command a crowd of 5,000 people. Seeing the crowd's reaction to the
music being played...at that moment becoming a DJ became REL's ultimate goal.
A fan of tech house and deep house, REL has begun
to shape his own sound, by adding House beats to popular songs and providing
club thumping remixes to popular classics. While crafting new beats and
genre defying music, REL is always searching high and low for music that makes
people move. With Michael Woods, Tiesto, Tujamo, Jeremy Olander, Eric
Prydz, Dave Spoon and Pete & The Fox helping him shape his style and sound,
REL brings energy and bumpin tracks to every show.
REL has played at some of New York City’s top
venues, including: Lavo, Marquee, Santos, Pacha, 1oak, Highline Ballroom and
more. After a brief tour in Israel, REL came back and shared the spotlight with
some of EDM’s biggest names, including: Ummet Ozcan, Wolfgang Gartner, Kaskade
and Afrojack. Playing each show with unmatched passion and excitement, REL
makes sure the crowd is dancing till the sun comes up.

Bio:
In
an industry where any determined newbie can download music software and
learn the basics from YouTube tutorials, 17-year-old Robbie Bergin --
better known by his DJ name, Throttle -- strives to distinguish himself
by understanding the science behind the software. Many in music may know
what equalization and compression are, but far fewer understand exactly
how and why a tweak in a parameter can alter a mix.
The
Australian-born producer has dedicated weeknights and weekends to
teaching himself to produce music since he was 14, finding a delicate
balance between his studies and mixes. When Throttle graduates high
school in November, however, he plans to put his studies on hold and
focus on creating original tracks and remixes full time. From
his initial exposure to music when he picked up guitar at 12, Throttle
recognized the importance of knowing his instrument. For him, it’s
Ableton, Sylenth and Novation’s Launchpad.
With
Launchpad, Throttle has carved out a name for himself on YouTube with
his live mash-ups (“Inspire” and “What’s That Sound”). For each short
video, he combines dozens of songs with the 64 programmable buttons.
Though Throttle spends hundreds of hours preparing the set list
beforehand, his meticulous finger movements are all in the moment.
Throttle
is seeking to transform the idea of what it means to be a DJ. As he
begins to add more live shows to his resume, which already includes
Avicii’s recent Australian tour and the 2014 Future Music Festival Throttle is poised to soon become a household name for EDM fans around the world.
