D-Wayne is an artist known for his serious zest for life, and combined with a relentless ambition and drive, a successful DJ was born. D-Wayne found his passion for music after DJing at school parties. After an early contract offer from world-renowned DJ and producer Afrojack, D-Wayne was thrown into massive crowds that helped develop the unique style that we see in his new single, “Trippin’”. Even with serious touring schedules, D-Wayne and Afrojack have declared that they’ll be good friends for a long time. D-Wayne has seen collaborations with various DJ’s such as Afrojack, Yves V, Gabriel & Dresden, Crossnaders, as well as releasing tracks on Nervous Records, Wall Recordings, Wolv and Future House Music. He’s delved into many dance music sub-genres, and even worked with live musicians in more indie and pop based projects. IEDM Radio Episode 172: Orjan Nilsen

Dedicated, hardworking, and energetic – three words that best attempt to describe what Norwegian hot-shot DJ Ørjan Nilsen is about. In the past few years, he has been impressing audiences across the planet with his own take on who a 21st century DJ and producer should be. 

Born in 1982 in the Norwegian town of Kirkenes, Ørjan had little doubt about what career he wanted to pursue. Having listened to countless CD compilations and seeing EDM legends perform, Ørjan quickly knew that the DJ booth would be his domain one day. 

Ørjan's work with the dutch label Armada Music started with the track “Red Woods” (released in 2006 under his DJ Governor alias), and over the years Ørjan found his groove, showing flashed of his huge potential with classics such as “La Guitarra” (2008) and Lovers Lane and So Long Radio (2010). Ørjan went on to release his first album in 2011, titled “In My Opinion”, and followed its release with “No Saint Out of Me” in 2013. 

As a DJ, Nilsen quickly established himself with an infectious blend of all things chunky and groovy, and his energy and presence behind the decks have taken him around the world. He’s played at some of the world’s finest clubs and biggest festivals, from Sao Paulo to Sydney and many places in-between. One thing is certain, there is no stopping this Norwegian prodigy,, be it in the studio or in the DJ booth. Vini Vici is the new project of Aviram Saharai & Matan Kadosh, both well-known electronic music producers for over a decade. The concept of Vini Vici was formed with an intention to combine a love for old school sound with progressive musical ideas. Iboga Records and FM Bookings, widely considered to be the largest Psytrance label and booking agency in the world, were the first to see the potential of Vini Vici and invited them to be part of their family alongside names such as Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul, Ticon, Captain Hook, Atmos, among many others. After the huge success of their premier EP “Divine Mode” and subsequent follow-up tracks (all top sellers on Beatport and Iboga Records charts), Vini Vici continues to produce massive hits while touring the world nonstop. Mariana BO is a producer and DJ leading the charge in Mexico’s EDM scene. She combines electronic music and violin while using the instrument in her live performances, and her music spans many subgenres of electronic music, from big room to progressive to deep house. Nobody would want to extinguish the flames generated by Firebeatz (Tim Smulders and Jurre van Doeselaar), a dynamic duo of Dutch producers who have become a international sensation with their combination of successful original music, remixes, and big-name collaborations. Playing mostly self-produced records, Firebeatz has delivered countless mainstage anthems, including collaborations with Calvin Harris, Tiësto and Martin Garrix. They’ve delivered remixes for a star-studded list of musicians that includes Rihanna, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Justin Timberlake, Pink, Snoop Dogg, James Blunt, and Sean Paul. The magic created by young Dutch producer Sandro Silva has become the future sound of electronic music. His presence in the industry is undeniable, with releases on Big Beat, Spinnin', Ultra, Dim Mak, and Armada, and recent performances at many of the world’s elite music hotspots. The road he’s taken to the top is a fast one, but there is no slowing in sight on his path to musical stardom. Guided by his mentor Tiesto, Sandro Silva has let his own natural talent shine and filled a gap in the dance music world. Silva reached breakthrough status when his track “Epic” (with Quintino) was released on Musical Freedom. The tune crashed global charts and was certified platinum in Holland and Gold in Belgium. iEDM Radio Episode 167: Toneshifterz

Toneshifterz has become a true ambassador of the Australian hard dance scene, confirming his international status on main stages around the world. Starting in 2009, he’s produced a number of popular tracks such as “Jaydee” and “Empire of the Sun”. Soon after his entrance into the industry, he was signed to the famous Fusion imprint, and in 2011 his debut album “Till Daybreak Meets” was released. Toneshifterz was also responsible for the official Defqon.1 Festival anthem “Psychedelic Wasteland”. In 2013, he switched to Brennan Heart's new musical platform We R with the massive single release “Last Night (Feat. Chris Madin)” and follow-up “Parachutes”, and in 2014 his smash hit “Wild Wild Weekend” became one of the biggest festival anthems of the year. At the end of 2016, the heavyweight artist moved to the Netherlands to continue pursuing his dream, making his mark in the world of hardstyle. In the space of just a few years, Blasterjaxx has ascended from a relatively unknown production duo to a fixture of the EDM scene in astounding fashion. With an energetic sound packed to the brim with huge riffs, enormous builds, killer drops and infectious melody, they’ve time and time again proved themselves to be amongst the most exciting producers and DJs in the EDM scene. Thom and Idir’s meteoric rise to the top has has brought challenges, but they’ve always stood by each other, and together taken their electronic dance music to new levels. Born and raised in The Hague, Netherlands, Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf draw on their home country’s rich heritage to present a sound that interprets their distinctive toughness in a cutting-edge, contemporary fashion. iEDM Radio Episode 165: Hiisak

Hiisak is a fast-rising Italian DJ and producer. A drummer since the age of seven, he’s always producing music thanks to his love for funky and groovy house. His style has a strong dominance of percussions, but his music undoubtedly reflects his versatility as an artist. He’s been working for several years as a ghost producer and contributed to the production of some of the most famous hits on national radio and in clubs during the early 2000s. 2017 is a very important year for him, as he’s working with the group who initially discovered him: Italian EDM duo Nari & Milani. iEDM Radio Episode 164: FuntCase

A producer and DJ from Bournemouth, UK, FuntCase (AKA James Hazell) is known for his raw and dirty sound, forging the way with his controversial “filthy” style. James first expressed his love of music through jamming with his schoolmates, taking his energetic and aggressive drumming style from death metal. He was also heavily influenced by happy hardcore and jungle, growing up to a background of Helter Skelter and Dreamscape mixtapes. After hearing “Bandwagon Blues” by Twisted Individual, James fell in love with the drum and bass sound and began to focus his talents on producing. Sharing his tracks with D&B radio stations led to the first recognition of his foot-thumping talents, and under the alias DJ Dose he released for the first time in 2007. In 2009 James began to dabble with producing dubstep, and gave his tunes a unique energy by incorporating the drum and bass layering technique into his dubstep sound. His first track “Make Our Day” was quickly signed to 4:20 Records, and the raw sound that is FuntCase had begun. It wasn't long before FuntCase began trading tracks with Doctor P, and an offer soon followed to bring James into the Circus Records camp with the release of his famed track “So Vexed’ in 2010. Since then, FuntCase has become a legend of the DJ world.
